James Tynan - Built Landscape

Our walk through Brooklyn Bridge Park was interesting because we got to see the park from a unique vantage point atop the large berm that separates it from the adjacent highway and walk through sections of the park that were under construction. I used two photos that juxtapose the different stages of the built landscape; one of construction materials and equipment and one of a newly constructed lawn area in the park not yet open to the public. I thought that these were interesting because they give a glimpse into the actual construction of a site and how a design is physically implemented. The same building can be seen in the background of both photos, without which one would never guess that the two were taken within a few hundred yards of one another.

Strong concept. My only suggestion would be to try and compose the images in such a way as there might be more continuity beteween them; in this regard, there are still 2 images, but they're also made to function as one. For example you might try and match the horizon lines between the 2 images a bit more closely.
