Teams will produce a short, 30 seconds movie with a single, fixed shot. This is important: the camera is not allowed to move, zoom, or do any fancy tricks. Let the images unfold from a fixed vantage point. Cinematogapher James Benning's work is an excellent example of the kind of patience that comes from really looking at something slowly, carefully: one shot, 10 minutes. For those of you who are accustomed action film-paced action, this is another way of seeing things.
