Mirror Labyrinth is an amazing sculpture. It is so simple yet you can get lost in it. The interactive component really makes this piece amazing as it adds to the space. It sits on a lawn and draws people to it. It is something you can look at for hours and not get bored with. I chose to post this video because I feel like this interactive site really effects the Brooklyn Bridge Park in a way that makes it more welcoming. It's telling people to come and look, play and explore. Most art pieces are usually just for looking but when a park has something interactive like this it becomes inviting for every one of every age and that is important when putting together an open space like this. You want everyone to enjoy being able to relax but also view something interesting or aseptically pleasing so that it doesn't mimic other open spaces that are similar. This is defiantly unique and art like this really adds an interesting aspect to the area. The park itself is full of other forms of art as well that really add to the different sections so that there is something for everyone during every season of the year. This creates community which is important when creating a park. The play grounds were also very unique and interesting. The playgrounds were definitely far from your typical American playground in style and equipment. This definitely makes the park stand out from every other park in the area.

We then left to go see another very interactive park called Prospect Park which I have been to for my grade schools field days ever since I can remember. It's a great park with open segments of field that is built for large groups and schools to come and spend the day playing. After that we visited the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens visitors center to see the architecture of the center and to make a connection of where the landscape architecture begins and stops. With a green roof on top and seating areas with plants to the side of it, it shows that architecture and landscape architecture is one of the same when creating both a useful and interactive seating area. After that because the problem with the bikes we sat on the bored walk of Rockaway beach which I thought was a nice space for people to just sit and watch the beach. Once we got to the bike place though we couldn't see everything we wanted to, we got to experience a very interesting wetland that is used for kayaking and other water or boat sports.

Though The end of today was full of surprises it brought the day to a really interesting close with a great experience in a place I have never been to. The neighborhood was a huge culture shock from the usual NYC feel. There were football fields and a huge suburban community feel. I’ll definitely be going back especially to take that four person bike out for another ride.

shooting this sculpture is a nice idea. you might have tried from different distances so that we can get more of the mirror effect. please don't forget to write about each piece you post, explain your motivations with working with this site, what you were trying to achieve, etc.

For some reason my text post didn't upload to the site but instead was saved as a draft but I just fixed that.
Also, I took another video from inside in which I waked around and that really showed the mirror effect but surprisingly when you stand still even on the inside of the sculpture the mirror effect doesn't seem as pronounced as it is when your moving.
