Manhattan in New York City is a artificial land. What makes me surprise is the area of the artificial land far more bigger than I thought. Today what we visited besides the waterside are all located on these artificial lands.

Generally, today is much better than yesterday. Thanks for the walking besides the waterside and the wind from river. These conditions brought the moisture and cool wind to us. After one whole day walking, a conclusion is running in my mind—that is the people living in New York City trying hard to make money and enjoy life.

The most impressive today’s landscape for me is Teardrop Park. It is hidden into a group of  residential buildings, such like a hidden valley. Even if this park is totally public for the citizens but it seems like a private zone. The designer pay much attention to details and provide a lots of moments to let people involve.

There is a concrete wall to split the whole garden in two parts and provide shading for the inside one. It is unbelievable that, at that time is all most 90 degree outside, when you get into the shading the weather there really comfortable, like a different world!

Another impressive park is the Esplanade which is located at the end of street. On the top of this park, people seems like stand on the hill to view the whole street. And the view from street seems like a piece of maintain at the edge of the city. The feeling is fancy and excited. Besides, the tour through the park is leading a feeling from modern life to wild life step by step.

well done! images are a bit small, though, and it's hard to read the titles under each column of images.

Write something about yourself. No need to be fancy, just an overview.
