The center 4 lines of of my collage depicts the straight and diagonal surfaces I examined in todays trip. On either side of the straight/diagonal edges are flowers and plants (greenery) I captured that complimented the many diagonal edges and spaces. These images are made up of plants of different colors, shapes and textures.  Finally, the two far columns on either side of my collage represent the not-so-pretty landscape colors and textures I noticed throughout our trip today.

hi joanne,

interesting experiment. am i to understand that the original panoramic images have been literally cut up and spliced into the large grid collage? i see some pieces, but i can't pick out other fragments (may i just can't see them). and what about the filler materials? how did you arrive at these images, and why are they placed where they are? in the third row from the bottom, and image of fdr four freedoms is rotated sideways, but i'm not sure if there are rules behind this decision. more explanation of your own framework that led to this collage would be useful.
